Troubleshooting and safe bug reports

If the app will not open, confirm architecture and official download; note any warning rather than disabling security globally. If books appear missing, check workspace/filter first and preserve all data folders. For AI errors, test the configured service/model; for exports, check entitlement, destination permissions and a small fictional book.

After an interrupted operation, keep original data and backups. Do not repeatedly overwrite the workspace or delete Application Support as a shortcut. Contact support with app version, operating system, steps, expected/actual result and a redacted screenshot. A fictional reproduction is safer than sending a real manuscript. Support may need further information, but never post a full license token or API key.
